Please note that UCSF was not included in the October 2010 AAUP faculty salary survey.  In 2010 UC implemented changes to its personnel data systems that allow for a more precise identification of clinical and basic science faculty who are members of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan (HSCP).  For October 2010, all HSCP faculty have been excluded from UC’s data.

In previous years not all HSCP faculty were identified and as a result some were included in the survey.  The drop in the number of faculty reported is most pronounced at UC-San Francisco, a health sciences campus, and due to the resulting small number of faculty meeting survey criteria, data for UCSF have not been included in the October 2010 report.
